Horace Mann (NYSE: HMN) is the largest financial services company focused on helping America's educators and others who serve the community achieve lifelong financial success.

In 1945, two teachers in Springfield, Ill., saw a need for quality, affordable auto insurance for teachers, and founded Horace Mann. In the more than 75 years since, we’ve broadened our mission to helping all educators protect what they have today and prepare for a successful tomorrow. And with our broadened mission has come corporate growth: We now hold more than $13B in assets and serve more than one million educator households.

As a mission-centric organization, striving to contribute to the greater good has long been an integral part of the way we operate. In 2016, we centralized our efforts into a formal Corporate Social Responsibility function. Since then, we have expanded our stakeholder engagement efforts, identified and tracked new metrics, and implemented new policies to confirm our commitments.
